The Gourdies

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Josh is Famous!

You can see Josh on a poster at this site:

http://scottlang.net/markingtimeposter.pdf

I would have added a hyperlink for your convenience, but apparently I'm not that accomplished! Is it because it's a PDF? Anyway, you can copy and paste the above address into your address bar.

This image is also part of a collage on the Broken Arrow Pride Equipment Trailer. We are pretty proud of this boy! He was in the OSU band this year, and enjoyed it, but it wasn't like being in Pride.

Josh - After His Donation

My favorite Josh quote: "I don't take Tylenol, it alters your perception of reality"

Josh's best attribute: His ability to be himself at all times.

Josh's Pet Peeve: Superfluous discourse.
Josh's most compassionate action: Donating his hair to Locks of Love (twice, the last time obviously very recently)

Rachel - A Self Portrait

My favorite Rachel quote:
"You're bugging me nuts!"

Rachel's best attribute:
Her ability to be self-sufficient.

Rachel's Pet Peeve:
Cacophonous mastication.

Rachel's most compassionate action:
Helping the pets at the Humane Society.

Sunlight filtered through oaks

The mind, in proportion as it is cut off from free communication with nature, with revelation, with God, with itself, loses its life, just as the body droops when debarred from the air and the cheering light from heaven.

Humane Society of Tulsa

I spent part of my day volunteering at the Humane Society, so I thought I would put in a plug for them here. They have lots of adorable cats and dogs up for adoption! This is Fellow and Lioness . Rachel worked today, although she usually only works on the weekends. You can see more pets that are available at

    Christmas Eve

    Jennifer, Josh, Rachel, and Harlan.

I sent the Curren side relatives an email about the pictures I took on Christmas Eve. Hopefully you've found them at photobucket.com. If not let me know! I wish they were better pictures, I need to work on my photography skills!
